This is not the first time they have reviewed their electricity supply, and there were many uncertainties about whether renewable energy would lower electricity costs. However, we were able to achieve cost reductions and a transition to renewable energy at all the facilities they requested, which made them very happy. In 2018, we first connected and discussed the cost-saving effects of power auctions with the factory's equipment manager, who was very pleased with our fair competition. They were unaware that their electricity rates were relatively high and could be significantly reduced through the auction, leading to considerable cost savings. As a result, after accounting for the expected annual cost savings, the total benefit in the first year of switching was 36.77 million yen, and they were very happy to know that they could enjoy a benefit of 41.66 million yen in the following years. Even if you switch your contract to a new electricity company, the electricity will still flow through the same power lines as before. Therefore, there is no need for the installation of new power lines or the replacement of electricity meters. The rate of power outages will not change regardless of the electricity company. In the unlikely event that the new electricity company withdraws from business or goes bankrupt, you are protected by the "last resort supply" safety net system under the Electricity Business Act, which was established with the full liberalization of electricity in 2016. Under this system, regardless of which electricity company your contract is changed to, the major electricity companies in each area are obligated to supply power as a backup, ensuring that consumers do not experience a disruption in electricity supply and do not suffer any losses. In 2020, we had the opportunity to connect with the person in charge of Solare Hotels, who manages electricity costs, and we introduced our services. Originally, this person was reviewing electricity costs for dozens of locations across Japan every year, but they were facing the dilemma of "having to invest labor hours without seeing any reduction effects." The major real estate investment advisory firm owns many buildings nationwide, and almost all of the properties are large in scale with a high number of floors. As a result, most of the buildings had quite favorable discounts applied to their contracts. Consequently, although various power companies offered quite good conditions, no matter how much we calculated, we could not achieve a reduction amount that fell below the penalty fees. After explaining the situation, we inquired with the power companies whether they could provide estimates for supply after the current contracts expire. As a result, they were flexible with the supply period and agreed to supply during the desired period according to the estimated conditions. Additionally, some power companies suggested that if the supply start date were to be earlier, they would provide another estimate, and if the conditions were to decrease further, they would supply under those conditions. A price increase proposal from the power company! Here are examples of cases where the increase was minimized.

The customer owns 40 retail locations in the city and has been rigorously working on cost reductions beyond just electricity. Additionally, they received a significant proposal for a 15% increase in annual electricity charges from their current supplier, which amounted to approximately 70 million yen. After informing them that the current contract levels would not be maintained and that a price increase was unavoidable, we held an auction to keep the increase to a minimum. As a result, we were able to limit the price increase to 5%, reducing the increase to 25 million yen.
